Salvation is a free gift for all. ( John 3:16) The eyes to see, the call to follow, the heart to love and deny your flesh, the mind focused on what is lovely. All is at his feet and on our knees.
We are not condemned in Christ Jesus. Only God can set it right, and he did. We follow in reverse, counter clock wise. We have won because Jesus did.
Living the life of Jesus is really difficult and intense – in all the best ways in the end. Learning,loving, growing through the power of the Holy Spirit. The right relationship is his design.The path of righteousness – for HE is holy.
Amos and Ellie began for this reason. To get myself in alignment so I could be useful for the kingdom. Like a child/ for a child. A place where truth could be found daily and understanding refreshing rather than sinful pleasure. A place of structure ( scripture ) and discovery ( Holy Spirit) To spawn intimate gatherings of prayer and worship that are spontaneous. To support all aspects of discipleship. Lifting ministries and churches to take shape in a new form. ( water to wine – first miracle)
for this reason, I continue. For my family and friends, I stay true. I say no when I used to say yes. I say yes,yes,and yes to God.
Jesus has my yes – 45 years ago I fell in love with my savior. So alive was my spirit! So free – as it is today.
In the years of famine, I have learned what sin is and isn’t and why it matters to God. I have strayed, found religion, and died, where I was released, now bound again in weighty, relentless chains.
Was my spirit doomed as has been in hearsay?
I should think not!! For a salvation properly understood through the spirit of all truth prophesies to all believers through the word of God. That’s a mouthful to say. How dare anyone trample on the covenant promise to his son and his sovereign design in a relationship to bring us full circle.
I don’t want anything but his beauty for everyone, and there is no beauty in separation from God.
We are held now by the laws of grace. Our merciful God showed us what we meant to him – now we show our commitment to the process – still in a sinful world without its nature – a new spirit is within us, and it leads us home.
The very thought of his absence shatters me as I have felt it in my sin. I know his righteousness, I know his compassion and corrections. I know the difference.
Fearing God is knowing the tragedy of being without him for a second. The devil and anyone he can lie to is in Death of the Spirit. No life. – For God is life. No love – for God is love.
Taking for granted the very web of silk mercy that holds us is foolish and what breaks my heart because it breaks the Father’s.
