Cartwheels of Joy.

Habakkuk 3:17 – 19.

Though the cherry trees don’t blossom and the strawberries don’t ripen. Though the apples are worm eaten,

and the wheat fields stunted. And the sheep pens are sheepless, and the cattle barns empty, I’m singing a joyful praise to God. I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God. I’m counting on God’s rule to prevail. I take heart, and gain strength. I run like a deer. I feel like I’m king of the mountain!

October 20,1968, my birthday 🎂🙏 I’m singing God’s praises no matter what! I didn’t think I would see one more day, most days of last year. Here we are! Celebrating, cartwheeling into a life that only God’s goodness ushers in.

My Holy, Precious Father,

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I adore you. I love you the most. Thank you for Joely. 🔥💥🔥Precious daughter of yours! Mine here on earth. My one true love. Thank you for Spencer 🎩Thank you for Melissa💞 thank you for Mom and Dad.

Thank you for shelter and Tiki 🔦 thank you for food and toilet paper. Thank you for your correction. Thank you for your comfort.

Thank you most of all Father, for Jesus. Our savior and Lord. Mine. All mine. Thank you for your Holy Spirit, given to mark us as yours- transformed by sacrifice, wisdom and Grace.

There are boundaries that keep us safe. I’ve struggled to erect them- throughout my life. There are deep, terrifying reasons for that. Still, I’m required to set them in love and to learn how and why. I’m required to honor the boundaries of others as well- even when they are walls that divide rather than protect.

If I loved you once, I still do.

Thank you for friends and family- all is forgiven and never lost. We were close at one time and I am forever grateful- maybe we will be again. It’s never cancelled by me. I don’t have the power to do so and even if I did, I wouldn’t wield it in that way.

Today, let’s do a cartwheel. Let’s take the temperature way down and keep it cozy. The harvest is here! The joy of the Lord isn’t circumstantial! His provision is forever and searches for the brokenhearted- I have seen it, felt it, tasted his goodness in the middle of death.

Today, I’m alive in CHRIST💥🌄🌼
